HOUSEZEN DECOR didn’t begin in a boardroom meeting as an ambitious venture but from a place of passion as a deeply personal project. The story began when we decided to turn a small property that we own in Jim Corbett, into a homestay. While interacting with the budding homestay owners in the neighbourhood, we got to know of their hardships finding the right furnishing products that match with their needs and style. We assisted them with our experience in the domain and realised the need of right guidance, products curation as per specific spaces, technical knowledge of fabrics and trends in the industry. At that moment, we decided to start something of our own and pursue what we are passionate about. After few months, we quit our jobs to build HOUSEZEN DECOR.

About Founder

Hello, I’m Bharti Pokhriyal, a passionate woman entrepreneur and the founder of Housezen Decor, a furnishings brand dedicated to bringing comfort, style, and convenience into modern homes.

With a strong academic background in textiles, I hold a graduation degree in Textile Studies, which laid the foundation for my deep understanding of fabrics, design, and functionality. Over the past 15 years, I have gained extensive industry experience working with some of the most renowned furnishings brands and textile mills. This journey has helped me develop expertise in product development, quality, and customer-centric solutions.

At Housezen Decor, my vision is to simplify home styling by offering not just premium-quality furnishings but also hassle-free services. We specialize in doorstep curtain installation, ensuring a seamless and convenient experience for our customers. Driven by creativity, dedication, and a commitment to excellence, I aim to create spaces that reflect comfort, elegance, and individuality.

Hi, I am Raj Pokhriyal. I am a fashion graduate and have 13 years of experience in textiles and fabric testing industry. Before starting HOUSEZEN Decor, I had experience of working with the top fabric testing labs. At HOUSEZEN DECOR, I oversee the quality and standards of the products that we bring for you. I make sure that every product that we bring meets the highest standards, are easy to maintain and last longer. I also make sure that our fabrics are skin friendly and hold their colors and texture for the longest time period.
